I needed someone for a small home repair...or so I thought. I looked on the internet for a handyman, called on my lunch hour and Gary agreed to come over after I got off work the same day. He assessed the issue and told me that I would be better off replacing the item than spending the money to have him repair it. He made a small adjustment and I'm good to go for a while now. I really appreciate his integrity and will be calling him again for future needs.

Diamond Home Improvement:

A Father and Son company with old-school ethics and craftsmanship! These guys are the best I have ever hired for several reasons! I was in the lighting industry for quite a few years and have dealt with many contractors throughout the year. What sets Diamond apart from the rest is that they are a TOTAL package deal and their prices are much more affordable than any other I have dealt with.

I live in an old Georgian house and had a serious plumbing issue that arose. I called around and was told that the area they needed to repair was impossible to get to without tearing apart the ceiling and wall on the first level. The quotes I received where over $ 2,100. This work was quoted w/out repair to the ceiling and walls. When Diamond came over to assess the situation not only where they able to fix the problem without any damage to the ceilings or walls, they charged me a fraction of what the others quoted. It took them a short amount of time to do the job and they left the work area very clean. Since then I have hired them to do several other jobs and they have never left me disappointed! They have an eye for detail and good work ethics.

If you ever need electrical work done that requires demolition of any walls or ceilings, they will repair them. For example: I hired an electrician before I knew of Diamond to do some electrical work. They had to tear out part of the walls to complete the job, but didn’t offer to repair the walls. So by this, I mean diamond is a total package deal!! They will complete any repairs in full.

I just hired Diamond to construct a treatment room for my new business and they did a remarkable job!! Done with perfection my treatment room has received gasping remarks of how beautiful it is. They have enhanced the image of professionalism and tranquility my clients deserve!! Thank you so much, Diamond!!

Reflecting on 'Diamond Home Improvement and Handyman Service'...

…how real professionals handle the job from beginning to completion, by doing exactly what they wrote in their contract without any excuses. Arriving on time, working diligently, cleaned during the job and after. Courtesy was shown to me and my property, as if they were working in their own home.

The first job they tackled they had to find the crack/cracks in the foundation which meant they had to remove the paneling and window framing. When they found the cracks in the foundation they also found that a lot of the framing was now rotted and also needed to be replaced along with the adjacent wall that needed new dry wall due to water damage. After the cracks in the foundation were fixed and dried they replaced the paneling and window framing, repainted and it now looks like I never had any work done in that area. They were also contracted to top off a separating wall ledge with Oak--it turned out beautiful. Along with cleaning the gutters, power washing the entire house and the deck--which also turned out fantastic.

I can’t begin to praise this company enough for being the kind of company that is competent, trustworthy/ honest and sincere with the customer who has not only put their faith in their company, but also their hard earned $$$$$$$$$$$.

Love these guys!
I've used Diamond for a major kitchen, two bath remodels and flooring, along with finishing our basement. Painting, carpentry, new doors, installing absolutely anything - these guys can do it all. I mean, they even provided a quick fix to an awful squirrel problem in our attic. AND, I like their prices, too! I wouldn't go anywhere else for home improvement and handy work - they seriously are the best!!! :D

Best Handyman Service
Gary and Ed have been helping me to keep my home at its best. In the course of the past 18 or more years they have put in hardwood floors, replaced all woodwork and doors, refinished cabinets and upgraded two bathrooms. They have refinished the basement twice including patching the foundation cracks. (sons change their minds as to what they wanted down there also). They have done electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding and windows replacement. They have replaced the garage door and repaired the springs to the door on the occasions they have broken. They remolded my garage, bringing heat and laundry to the garage. However, the big job was to build a 15 x 25 ft three season room on the back of my home, which I love.

Now let’s move to my Mother home. She was taking in water in the basement to the point she had mold building up. They fixed the cracks, sealed the window again, tore the paneling down and replaced it, had to gut the bathroom down there and replace everything. This job also required installing a second sump-pump in the basement. Then the outside drains around the house where cracked and needed to be replaced. All done under their watchful eye.

So, now you know of most of the big things they have help me with but to list all the little minor things they have either fixed or replace for me, we would need to be here all day!

You can trust them to do a great job for you! --- I do!
